The Hindu culture of the Dhakeshwari temple is vibrant and rich. It’s referred to as the Shiba Temple with three rooms. The temple’s layout, which features three bays with three rooms each and three pyramid-shaped Shikharas in front of a verandah, is quite similar to the modern Mughal mosque layout. While there are certain details that differ, many of the Islamic features are still present.
The temple’s overall layout creates a beautiful impression. Only three or four centuries have passed since the construction of the current Dhakeshwari temple, which was allegedly carried out by a Hindu agent working for the East India Company.
The southwest region of Dhaka is home to the Dhakeshwari Temple. Not to divulge its precise location given how well-known the shrine is.
