It is situated in Dhaka City’s Mohammadpur neighborhood. There are seven domes in the mosque: four above the corner towers and three above the prayer chamber. A modest wall encloses the mosque, which is situated on a slightly elevated stone plinth measuring 26.82 meters by 25.60 meters. A entrance is located in the center of the eastern side.
The central doorway of the mosque itself is precisely aligned with this arched gateway with decorative towers on either side. A set of steps led up to the top of the entrance, which was accessible from both the north and the south. It is called Satt Gumbad Mosque as a result. The antique building dates back to AD 1680.
