Chunakhola Mosque view this single-domed mosque as modern, comparable to the Khan Jahan Ali-style mosques of Khalifatabad, which are now in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. Construction dates can be considered to be in the middle of the fifteenth century based on architectural style (K. Alamgir).
Chunakhola Mosque is a sultanate mosque of the single-domed square variety, meaning it is a square building with a single dome on top. Located one kilometer northwest of the well-known Shaitgambud Mosque lies the mosque.
The middle part of the qibla wall is expanded westward from the ground to the roof, and there are three mihrabs, each of which is in line with the three entrances to the east. This type of building, which is often seen in and around the southwest region of Bangladesh, is stylistically known as Khan Jahan Ali architecture.
