The historic six-domed mosque of Baba Adam Shaheed in Munshigonj district was erected by commandant Malik Kafur during the reign of the last Elyas Shahi Sultan Jalaluddin Fateh Shah in 1483 AD.
It displays same characteristic features of the period such as the faceted – octagonal furrets at 4 corners the curved cornice, the facade and 3 mihrabs relieved richly with beautiful terracotta floral and hanging patterns.
