It is a unique structure of the Mughal period. Governor Mir Jumla built this fort on the western bank of river Shitolakhkha, Narayangonj district in 1660 AD. The half buried remains of this brick fort is encircled by water routes to guard against the recurrent plundering raised of the Portuguese pirates.
