Raja Nilambor, son of Zaminder Shree Batsaracharja Thakur built the Puthia Rajbari in 16th century AD. It is situated on the western side of Rajshahi-Natore road, about 24 km. of Natore City.
It may be mentioned that Raja Nilambor was conferred with the title Raja by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and was offered the estate of Laskarpur as acknowledgment for his excellence in administrative work.
