It is a unique monument of the Mughal period. Mughal Governor Mir Jumla built this fort on the eastern bank of river Shitolakhkha, Narayangonj district in 1660 AD. The half buried remains of this brick fort is encircled by water routes to guard against the recurrent plundring raisd of the Portuguese pirates.
